Why LaTeX?

LaTeX has several advantages:

1. You only have to enter content; formatting is done by compiling with a style file
2. The songs can be reformatted, changed to overheads, lyric books, etc., with a single parameter
3. The resulting charts are typeset more accurately and look nicer than what a normal word processor would do
